Who is the Managing Diretor / Chief Executing Officer of Edge Homes, Anthony Ukawoko?
Anthony Ukawoko is an expert in Accounts, Auditing, and Financial Management with over 17 years of practicing as a top Financial Manager, Financial Planner, Budgeting and Monitoring. To his credit, he added over 4 years of practicing in Treasury and Internal Auditing and over 3 years as an external auditor. He is an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACIT 2011), an Associate Member of Nigerian Institute of Management (ACIM 2004) and an Associate Member Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA 1997).
Tony worked at the finance and accounts departments of the Central Bank of Nigeria between the year 1992 and 1993 as Senior Account Supervisor and proceeded to Babatunde Sanni & Co. Chartered Accountants as an audit supervisor between 1993 and 1996 where he led the audit teams. In 1996 he joined PHARMA DEKO PLC, a public quoted company that produces top pharmaceutical and consumer goods as Accounts and Treasury officer. Later he was appointed the Internal Auditor at the same company between 1997 and 2000.
He had also served in different financial capacities for quite a number of multinational organizations like P&O Nedlloyd Nig. Ltd, one of the biggest container shipping businesses in the World with an annual turnover of around US4 billion before its acquisition by Maersk line on November 2005; also with CMA CGM Nigeria shipping ltd a shipping agent representing the interest of its principal CMA CGM, France which is the third biggest shipping company in the world as their Chief Financial officer.
Mr. Tony as he is warmheartedly called is a Nigerian who hails from Amapu – Ntigha in Isi-Ala Ngwa North Local Government Area of Abia State. He is a serial property investor with keen interest in providing affordable properties for the Nigerian populace. For more than two decades he dedicated his diversification into the real estate industry, nurturing the ambition of establishing a leading real estate services and property development company which has emanated to Edge Homes properties Ltd.
